Officers were sent to a Westport residence Sunday, Nov. 25 around 4 p.m. after hearing a report of a disturbance. They arrived on the scene to find the home unoccupied and unlocked. Westport Police entered to find various holiday decorations and ceramics strewn about and shattered.
Officers then identified the victim, who agreed to visit police headquarters for questioning. Upon further investigation, the victim was found to be uninjured after getting into a dispute with Diana Schuster.
Officers discovered that Schuster had thrown items during the dispute, and these acts were witnessed by juveniles. The subject was located at a nearby hotel and taken into police custody.
Schuster was charged with disorderly conduct and risk of injury to a child. She was released after posting $1,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in Norwalk Court on Monday, Nov. 26.
